Free Commercials? Unlimited Airtime? Yes
15 Second TV Ads Create Brain Glitches
Uh oh!! I’m like a clone/zombie having spent a lifetime watching television.
I was one of the first generations of “latch key kids” where I sat in front of the television when I got home from school, feasting on granola and The Brady Bunch. Can you sing the song? “Here’s a story of a lovely lady…”

What was TV doing to my brain? For one thing it made me want to be Jan Brady with a pair of knee high socks and a plaid skirt. But that’s another story.
We Love Our Screens
We are accustomed to being interrupted by commercials but that doesn’t mean we like it! Thanks to Google, and the other search engines, real information is king online.
Have you noticed that when the Internet first “popped” into our lives, “interruption based marketing” was still trying to take hold? Pop-up ads took over your screen, and often we had to shut our computer down just to get back the control.
Its a Revolution People
The little guys, the real people, the un-airbrushed, authentic folks, all sizes, shapes and ages, who say “…um” and “…ah” between ideas, the incomplete sentences and the dangling participles have a chance now! Why? Because we’re authentic, and authenticity, as it turns out sells!
Like Andy Worhol said… (something about 15 seconds of fame – but guess what? Our time is pretty much unlimited with online video.)
Have the inmates taken over the prison? Or have the prison walls simply been abolished over time?
Recession Slams Local Businesses – Or Is It Our Lame Internet Presence?
Three hundred million online viewers are watching video. That’s a lot of us. And every year User Generated Video is up. Last year, UGV was up 37% over all professional video like TV and Movies.
Hello people! Why haven’t local businesses caught on? That’s where Video Blog Marketing comes in. Local businesses can connect with people that resonate with their message, in the terms people prefer: Online video. By the time they find you, they’ll listen to you – if you have the answer on video they’ll watch. You can still be the expert in your field locally because most local businesses do not have online video. Its wide open now, I know in five years it won’t be the case.

Its Free So Slap Up Anything
Sure, you could slap up a camera without professional lights or sound, (there is nothing worse than bad sound and picture) and do it yourself.
But we want you to put your best foot forward with a well produced video, great audio and graphics and a modern web 2.0 website/blog. Once your video is in place, it can do all the work getting to know people for you 24/7 at no extra cost! That excites me.
